Jade: The New Pop Star Ready to Take Over the World

Have you heard of Jade? If not, it’s time to catch up. Since leaving Little Mix, this young British artist has started carving her own path, proving she has everything it takes to shine on her own. Her tracks IT girl and Angel of My Dreams have been the perfect previews, showing that Jade is not just ready to take control of her career but also capable of pushing pop to new, exciting places.

What draws me into her music isn't just her unmistakable voice, but the way she blends confidence with vulnerability. You can also easily spot her influences—they’re recognizable and familiar. IT girl has this immediate hook. It has that energy that makes you feel like you're the center of the universe, yet with just the right amount of reflection. We’ve been coming off a pop era where songs were getting more and more superficial, but Jade offers something real, something that connects with you on a personal level. It’s a trend we’ve been seeing recently, and it's refreshing to have pop songs that speak to something more authentic without losing that signature sound.

When Jade left Little Mix, there were so many questions about what she would do next, and many wondered if she could make the jump to a solo career without losing the essence that made her stand out in the band. And the answer, at least so far, is clear: yes.

It’s true that her presence is still somewhat limited outside the UK, but what’s happening with her music is not something that’s going unnoticed. And while Little Mix never quite dominated the charts outside of Europe (at least not as much as one would expect from a band with that much talent), Jade now has a real chance of breaking those barriers. Her style and attitude are taking her to a level where what’s to come could be much bigger. In a recent interview, Jade mentioned, "I want to surprise people. I didn’t want to do what was expected of me." (InStyle)

What excites me most about Jade is how she’s embracing her own path without fear. In a conversation with The Independent, Jade shared, "I want to be recognized as a versatile pop artist who always delivers meaningful music." (The Independent) In music, as in life, it’s easy to follow others, to do what everyone expects. But Jade is doing her own thing, not trying to fit into a mold. That’s what makes her special. And even though she hasn’t had the massive global impact just yet, the ingredients are all there: a powerful voice, a unique stage presence, and a real ability to connect with her audience.

2025 has the potential to be Jade’s year, and I’m already excited to see what more she has in store. If her first singles are just the warm-up, I can’t even imagine what’s coming next. What’s clear is that her music is hitting a nerve that many weren’t expecting, and the star emerging in front of us is sure to leave a mark on pop.

Right now, Jade is at the exact point where music and authenticity meet. The way she’s evolving not only makes her a singer but also an influential figure in pop music. She may not yet dominate global charts, but Jade is here to stay. And I’m willing to bet that 2025 will be her breakout year.

Bea and her Business: The Artist Who Conquered TikTok and My A-List

If there's one thing the music world has taught us in recent years, it’s that social media is the new runway for talent. And Bea and her Business is living proof that real talent can flourish anywhere on the web. If you haven’t heard of her yet, you're about to discover an artist who has not only conquered digital platforms but also our hearts.

Who is Bea and her Business?

Bea Wheeler, known by her stage name Bea and her Business, is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from London. Yes, you read that right—19 years old! Despite her young age, Bea has a musical maturity that many artists decades older would envy.

She was born in London and showed a passion for music from an early age. Her influences are pretty diverse, ranging from Lily Allen to poets like Leonard Cohen. Bea is a prime example of how blending different styles can create something completely unique. What's interesting is that, from the very beginning of her music career, she hasn’t just been the artist—she's also been the businesswoman behind her own project. Her stage name, “Bea and her Business,” isn't just a catchy label, but also reflects how seriously Bea takes her musical career, taking the reins of her own journey.

Bea’s Musical Beginnings

Bea didn’t become famous overnight. She started on social media, mainly on TikTok, where she shared covers of popular songs and her own original compositions. This allowed her to connect with thousands of people who began to relate to her lyrics—honest, vulnerable, and very real. The most impressive part? She was doing all of this from her bedroom! The fact that her career skyrocketed through platforms like TikTok serves as a reminder that it doesn’t matter where you come from, but rather what you do with your art.

Her debut single, “Born To Be Alive,” launched her into the spotlight. The song surpassed 25 million streams on Spotify and, from there, things just kept growing. Bea quickly gained global recognition, something that often seems like a dream for emerging artists. And it’s no wonder! Her EP "Introverted Extrovert" solidified her talent and ability to write songs that are emotionally impactful yet have a catchy, youthful vibe.

"Safety Net": The First Song I Heard and Can't Stop Repeating

Okay, let me tell you something personal: when I first heard “Safety Net,” I knew that song was going straight to my A-List for a long time. Seriously. This track has something special, something that makes it stand out and, at the same time, makes you think about all those relationships that scare you, but also make you feel more alive than ever. Bea isn't afraid to show her vulnerability, and that makes her incredibly relatable. It's like we're hearing her deepest thoughts, but sung in the most raw and emotional way possible.

The song has the perfect mix of honest lyrics and pop production that sticks in your head. It’s that song you put on repeat and never get tired of. The lyrics talk about the insecurity that can come with being emotionally vulnerable, but also the need to find someone who can be your “safety net” in those tough moments. Bea sings it with such raw honesty that you can't help but feel seen. Don’t you have those songs that, when you hear them, you just know they’re meant for you? That’s “Safety Net.”

What Can We Expect from Bea?

What I love about Bea is that she still has so much ahead of her. Even though she's already achieved so much at such a young age, her music continues to evolve, exploring new emotions and sounds. In 2024, she released tracks like “Me Against My Head” and “WOW!”, which continue that emotional honesty but with a more mature and daring approach. Bea is clearly leaving her mark on pop, and I’m excited to see what she brings next.

Today, Bea and her Business is not just an up-and-coming star, but also an example of how authenticity and a passion for music can connect with millions of people. So if you haven’t heard her yet, I highly recommend you give her a listen. I’m sure one of her songs will end up on your A-List too.

Blast Off into 2024: My Top 10 Tracks Across the Music Universe

2024 was a year of highs and lows, but through it all, music was my constant companion. I listened to much more music than in previous years, making this one of the most memorable in my life. The return of pop to the center of mainstream music, led by various artists, really captivated me. From moments of joy to quiet reflections, these 10 songs were the soundtrack of my year. Let me take you on a journey through my personal countdown of the tracks that made this year unforgettable.

10. Ariana Grande – we can’t be friends (wait for your love)

Ariana’s we can’t be friends (wait for your love) was a clear standout from the start, produced by Max Martin. Coming off the hype from "Yes, and?", it was no surprise this track hit me hard. Her voice, as always, is mesmerizing, but the way this song explores the complexities of love and friendship really resonated with me. Emotional, bittersweet, and one of those tracks that stays with you.

9. Justin Timberlake – No Angels

At first, I didn’t think Justin Timberlake’s new album was anything special, but No Angels really grew on me over the year. A smooth blend of R&B and pop, this song had me hooked from the start. JT’s signature style shines through, and the laid-back, soulful vibe was the perfect companion after a long day. It feels effortless, like the soundtrack to a sunset drive with the windows down.

8. Sabrina Carpenter – Please Please Please

Sabrina Carpenter’s Please Please Please comes in at number 8. This song was a real gem, offering a perfect balance of vulnerability and yearning. The track’s infectious rhythm and heartfelt lyrics had me coming back for more each time. It’s one of those songs that gets stuck in your head and takes you to a place of pure emotional release. I have to admit, I didn’t expect it to be this high, but it’s undoubtedly well-deserved.

7. Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars – Die with a Smile

When Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars teamed up for Die with a Smile, I knew I had to listen. The collaboration felt like a celebration of everything we love about music: bold, joyful, and full of life. The energy in this song was contagious, and it became my go-to track whenever I needed a mood boost. I could easily imagine myself dancing to it in a crowd, surrounded by smiles and good vibes. This could easily be one of the classics of this decade and could very well make another top 10 list for 2025.

6. Justin Timberlake – Selfish

Another JT track on my list, Selfish took the number 6 spot. There’s something about this track that feels made for those quiet, intimate moments. It’s a song about desire, but in a subtle, genuine way. The production is silky, and Justin’s voice adds emotional depth that made it one of my favorites. It became my late-night companion, playing softly in the background while I reflected on life. After reading Britney Spears’ biography, my feelings toward JT were conflicted, but the song always shines above personal opinions.

5. Billie Eilish – BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Billie Eilish’s BIRDS OF A FEATHER was a standout track for me in 2024. This song felt different—more experimental, yet still carrying that signature Billie vibe. Hauntingly beautiful with a sense of isolation that resonated deeply, the subtle electronic elements and the way Billie’s voice drifts through the track created an atmosphere that pulled me in every time I pressed play. Another track that could very well repeat on top 10 lists for 2025.

4. Ariana Grande – the boy is mine

Ariana Grande’s the boy is mine captivated me from the very first listen. A sound that took me back to the ’90s, but with enough modernity to keep me from feeling old. It’s a track you put on when you’re feeling nostalgic or when you want to get lost in your emotions. Ariana’s vocal control here is impeccable, and the lyrics hit hard, giving the song a sense of longing and heartbreak. This one stayed on repeat for weeks.

3. Benson Boone – Beautiful Things

Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things was an unexpected favorite. Normally, I don’t connect with artists who prioritize religion while talking about their personal stories, but as I’ve said before, the song always takes precedence over everything else. This song had a soft, inviting melody, and the lyrics reminded me of the beauty that exists in the world—even in the smallest things. Every time I listened, I felt a little lighter, a little more hopeful. It quickly became one of my go-to tracks for moments of reflection and peace.

2. Sabrina Carpenter – Espresso

Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso claimed the second spot. This track is arguably one of the most iconic pop songs of the century. From the moment it was released, I knew it would be a massive hit. It was the perfect track for a burst of motivation, always managing to lift my spirits no matter the day. The clever lyrics and playful vibe had me dancing in my room more times than I can count. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to move, to be alive in the moment, and it brought so much joy to my year.

1. Chappell Roan – Good Luck, Babe!

And finally, my number one track of 2024: Good Luck, Babe! by Chappell Roan. This song is an absolute masterpiece. A track that speaks to my own life. The way Chappell captures the complexities of love and heartbreak is mesmerizing. The production is beautiful, the lyrics raw, and the vocal performance… simply stunning. This song had me hooked from the first listen, and it became my soundtrack through every high and low of the year. There’s just something so special about it, and it’s the perfect song to end my top 10 with.

Wrapping Up 2024

Looking back on 2024, I’m grateful for these songs and the way they shaped my year. From emotional ballads to fun anthems, these tracks helped me navigate life, one beat at a time. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store, but for now, these 10 songs will forever remind me of a year well-lived through music.
