Summer is heating up with great music, and we’ve got five tracks you need to hear. Three of them are brand-new releases lighting up the scene right now, and the other two are recent gems that we’ve finally added to our playlist (better late than never!). From Spanish club bangers to emotive pop anthems and viral indie hits, here’s the scoop on what makes each song special.
Lola Indigo – “MOJA1TA”
If you need a Spanish summer banger, Lola Indigo has you covered again. Her just-dropped single “MOJA1TA” is a hot blend of club beats and Latin flavor – she even mixes in a touch of bachata to spice things up. The result is a fresh and fun track that’s impossible not to dance to. With a beat made for the dancefloor and a chorus that sticks in your head, “MOJA1TA” feels like an instant fiesta.
Lyrically, the song is full of passion, flirtation, and confidence. Lola Indigo wants you to let loose – she’s basically saying “forget your worries and dance!” It’s no surprise; Lola has become a go-to artist for Spanish summer anthems. Every year she drops a hit that dominates the season, and “MOJA1TA” might be the song of Summer 2025. (Fun fact: the music video features Lola partying with friends in a wild pool party, complete with cameos from some of Spain’s rising pop/urban icons – talk about a summer mood!) There’s no doubt – Lola Ăndigo is once again staking her claim as a queen of the summer charts with this one.
Zara Larsson – “Midnight Sun”
Zara Larsson’s comeback feels powerful and a bit unexpected – and we are here for it. Her new single “Midnight Sun” is a luminous electro-pop anthem that ushers in those endless summer vibes. The track merges euphoric house-style beats with Zara’s emotional vocals, creating a feeling that’s somehow uplifting and nostalgic at the same time. When you listen, you can practically imagine dancing under a sky that never gets dark (fitting, since in Sweden the summer sun barely sets – hence the title).
This song marks a triumphant return for Zara. It’s the second peek at her upcoming album (also called Midnight Sun, due later this year), and it shows Zara embracing a new chapter of creative freedom. She’s parted ways with her old label and is now releasing music on her own terms – and you can feel that confidence. “Midnight Sun” channels the magic of long July nights: shimmering synths, an irresistible chorus, and lyrics about love and living in an everlasting summer moment. It’s both a celebration of her Swedish roots (those summer nights clearly inspired her) and a fresh club-friendly banger. Zara Larsson is back, and she’s making sure everyone knows it with this radiant track.
Tom Gregory – “Different Kind of Love”
British singer Tom Gregory might be underrated globally, but he’s been consistently on our radar – and his brand-new single “Different Kind of Love” shows why he deserves more love. The song is an upbeat pop jam with a driving groove and a heartfelt vibe. Tom’s smooth, earnest vocals shine as he sings about experiencing a love that stands out from anything before. The chorus is the kind that makes you want to roll down the car windows and sing along – it’s catchy and soaring, yet there’s an emotional sweetness to it.
What’s great about Tom Gregory is his reliability in delivering solid pop-rock tracks. He’s had a string of minor hits and big streaming numbers across Europe (you might know songs like “Fingertips” or “Small Steps”), and he keeps honing his craft. “Different Kind of Love” continues that streak. It’s polished and radio-ready, but still feels personal. You can tell Tom put real feeling into the lyrics, which touch on finding hope in a new relationship and appreciating a love that’s refreshingly different. We’ve been following Tom for a while now – he’s truly an underrated talent – and this new release might be the one that finally gets him on more playlists. Don’t sleep on it.
Miley Cyrus – “Easy Lover”
Miley Cyrus’s latest album Something Beautiful is packed with bangers, and “Easy Lover” is a prime example that we just couldn’t ignore. This track isn’t a Phil Collins cover – it’s an original Miley jam, and it absolutely rips. “Easy Lover” rides on an upbeat pop-rock groove with a throwback twist; it’s got a bit of an ‘80s soft-rock vibe updated with Miley’s modern flair. The guitars and synthy touches give it a shimmering warmth, but the song still has a punchy beat that makes you want to move.
Lyrically, Miley is belting about the rollercoaster emotions at the end of a relationship. There’s longing, there’s resolve, and there’s that edgy confidence we’ve come to love from her. (Leave it to Miley to turn heartache into an empowering sing-along.) One cool tidbit: she actually wrote “Easy Lover” a few years ago during her Plastic Hearts era and even toyed with making it a country collab at one point – but she held onto it and reinvented it for this new album. Good choice, because the song fits perfectly into Something Beautiful, which has Miley exploring all kinds of sounds. With heavy-hitter co-writers and producers (shout out to pop guru Ryan Tedder and others on this track), “Easy Lover” delivers polished pop-rock goodness. It’s energetic, it’s emotional, and it’s undeniably catchy. If you haven’t dived into Miley’s new album yet, let “Easy Lover” be your gateway – you’ll see why we say the whole record is bangers front-to-back.
sombr – “undressed”
Here’s a track that actually came out in the spring, but we’re only now adding it to our playlist because it has become inescapable (in the best way). “undressed” by sombr has slowly turned into one of the songs of the spring 2025 season – a sleeper hit that went totally viral. Sombr (the stage name of 19-year-old singer-songwriter Shane Boose) delivers an indie pop/rock gem here. The song starts off soft and introspective, then builds into a lush, guitar-laced chorus. It’s the kind of track that sneaks up on you: by the second chorus you realize you’re feeling it a lot more than you expected.
What makes “undressed” special is its raw emotion. The lyrics deal with fear and vulnerability in a new relationship – essentially, the anxiety of “getting undressed” emotionally for someone new after you’ve been hurt. Sombr’s voice lays that feeling bare with a slightly raspy, heartfelt delivery. You can almost imagine late-night drives and past memories when you listen. The authenticity clearly hit home with listeners on TikTok, where Sombr teased the song before release. It blew up on the platform, and then boom – “undressed” started climbing charts around the world (we’re talking top 5 in multiple countries!). It’s always awesome to see a young artist break out like this. If you haven’t heard it yet, give “undressed” a spin. It’s moody, honest, and surprisingly catchy – a perfect spring-to-summer transition song that we just couldn’t leave off our playlist anymore.
